IT’S John Smith’s Cup day at York and, as ever, this 1m 2f Heritage Handicap has attracted a good field in which strong cases can be made for up to a dozen of the contenders. It’s a tough call, but I’m going for a local connection with St Helens-educated Martin Dwyer’s mount, Ezdiyaad fancied to get back to winning ways.
Selections
Nottingham: 3.10 Bahamian Ceilidh
York: 3.15 Ezdiyaad (nap)
Ascot: 5.10 Badalona
Chester: 4.45 Keelung
Hamilton: 8.15 Rasaman
Salisbury: 9.00 Scuffle
