Serious assault at MMU campus in Alsager

POLICE are investigating a serious assault which happened at the Manchester Metropolitan University campus in Alsager in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The incident occurred at 1.09am on Thursday, and one person is currently in custody following the assault.
A police spokesman added: "The victim is in a stable but serious condition in hospital."
