Making life bear-able

11:07am Monday 19th November 2001

A TEDDY bear worth £100 is set to go to a good home and raise cash for critically-ill children.

Archie the bear was donated to the Bromley Children's Kidney Trust by underwear shop La Senza at the Glades centre.

The bear will be raffled for the charity's Daisy Chain Appeal, aiming to improve hospice care for children in the borough.

The raffle is at the Marjorie McClure Special School, in Chislehurst. The date is to be arranged.

Children's Kidney Trust general manager Howard Gray said: “The raffle will help our Daisy Chain Appeal.”
