Steam enthusiasts are making their way to the South West ahead of the Great Dorset Steam Fair, which opens next weekend.
The fair, which will also feature stunt displays, live music and a fairground, is hailed by organisers as the “world’s leading and largest heritage event”, with more than 200,000 visitors expected to attend.
Exhibitors gathered at Drusilla’s Inn, near Horton in Dorset, ahead of the fair.
Around 2,000 exhibitors and their families will head to the festival, according to organisers.
More than 200 tonnes of steam coal are used every year at the show.
This year marks the 51st annual Great Dorset Steam Fair.
Steam enthusiast Monica Brown, 70, was determined to look her best for the event.
