ANYONE looking to move will be spoilt for choice as Cheshire hosts the UK’s largest open house event.

The event runs over the next two weekends in May and features more than 6,200 properties across the country.

Bridgfords, Beresford Adams, Entistle Green, Clive Watkin and Swetenhams will all host open houses in the national campaign labelled as the UKs largest open house weekend.

An array of properties will be on the market on May 11 and 12 and 18 and 19.

In a similar campaign last year, estate agents saw 404 offers across just one weekend in September and homes that sold achieved on average 100 per cent of their asking price.

Patricia Cliff, branch manager of Bridgfords in Sandbach, said: “The last four weeks has seen on of the busiest Aprils for many years for new properties

coming onto the market.

“The area benefits from excellent transport links and Sandbach in particular is highly commutable meaning we see buyers from out of the area coming to us often.

“Our middle range homes are currently selling well and as we have moved into the spring months we are seeing a great interest in the higher end market which was slower last year.

“This interest from both buyers and sellers to get moving has been incredibly positive.”

Properties cover all styles, sizes and price ranges.

A six-bedroom detached house in Knutsford is described as a ‘rare find’.

Bridgefords is marketing a property nestled on a sprawling half-acre of meticulously maintained gardens.

The estate agent said: “This property is a haven for those who appreciate the beauty of nature.

“The gardens are adorned with vibrant flowers, lush greenery and manicured lawns, providing a serene and picturesque setting.

“This truly astounding house is a rare find, offering a lifestyle of luxury and tranquility.”
