THE members of the Crewe and Nantwich Lions Club, through the columns of your newspaper, would like to thanks all those who supported the Concert, held at the Civic Hall, Nantwich, in February, with the Crewe Male Voice Choir and the Lions Youth Brass.

The event was an outstanding success and, as a result, a cheque for £1,000 is being forwarded to the Leighton Hospital Macmillan Cancer Unit Project.

We are greatly indebted to the Crewe Male Voice Choir and the Lions Youth Brass for providing what was a very memorable evening, the pleasure that it gave has resulted in many requests for it to be repeated.

The organisation of the Concert was made easy by the invaluable help given by the staff of the Civic Hall.

We are very grateful to all who made the event possible, so enabling the Lions Club to continue in its aim to give service to the community.
